Mercury EV Tech Limited originally began its journey as Mercury Metals Limited, a business primarily engaged in trading metal and metal scraps. Recognizing that the need for a greener, cleaner, and non-conventional source of power has arisen over the decades, we transitioned into developing innovative and advanced electric mobility solutions.

Under the vision of our founder, Jayesh Thakkar, we realized that establishing electric vehicles is one of the most promising solutions for the future. We built our extensive R&D and accumulated know-how across 2-wheelers, 3-wheelers, and commercial 4-wheelers. Today, our operations are anchored by a sprawling 18-acre manufacturing campus strategically situated near Por in Vadodara, Gujarat, right on the golden quadrilateral.

The range
The catalogue runs to 16 production vehicles — 9 passenger models and 7 commercial ones, across 4 electric scooters, 10 three-wheelers and 2 four-wheelers. They span the daily commute, shared passenger transport, cargo and container haulage, and municipal waste collection. Every figure published against them is taken from that model's factory brochure; where a brochure states no figure, none is shown.
Where they are built
Manufacturing is concentrated on a single campus at Por, Vadodara, Gujarat, which is what makes the in-house scope above possible: the battery, the battery management system, the chassis and the motor controller are made on the same site that assembles the vehicle, and the CED coating line — the only one of its kind in Gujarat — sits in the same building. Fewer outside vendors means the quality of a Mercury vehicle is settled by Mercury rather than negotiated down a supply chain.

Vehicles reach owners through 39 appointed dealerships in 33 cities across 10 states, from Gujarat and Maharashtra to Assam, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Delhi and West Bengal. The dealer locator lists every one of them with its address and contact details.
